Baked Turnip Fries Recipe


Crispy oven-baked turnip fries are addictive and a crowd-pleaser. They can serve as a snack or side dish.

1 pound turnip

4 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

¾ teaspoon ground black pepper


  1. Set oven to 400 degrees F and let preheat.
  2. In the meantime, rinse potatoes, then cut into a ½ inch thick slice and fries.
  3. Arrange turnip wedges in a large baking dish and then drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper and toss until mixed well.
  4. Place the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until tender and nicely golden brown. Serve immediately.
