Crispy oven-baked turnip fries are addictive and a crowd-pleaser. They can serve as a snack or side dish.

1 pound turnip
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoon ground black pepper
- Set oven to 400 degrees F and let preheat.
- In the meantime, rinse potatoes, then cut into a ½ inch thick slice and fries.
- Arrange turnip wedges in a large baking dish and then drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper and toss until mixed well.
- Place the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until tender and nicely golden brown. Serve immediately.
