Clam Chowder Recipe

If you like seafood then you will just love this chowder.

Makes: 8 servings

Cook: 4-6 hours

Ingredients:-

Thick cut bacon – 13 slices

Onion (chopped) – 1 cup

Celery (chopped) – 1 cup

Whole baby clams (with juice) – 2 cans

Chicken Broth – 2 cups

Heavy whipping cream – 2 cups

Pepper – 1 teaspoon

Salt – 1 teaspoon

Ground thyme – 1 teaspoon

Directions:-

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and once cooled crumble it.
  2. Sauté the celery and onion in the bacon grease and transfer into the slow cooker.
  3. Combine the rest of ingredients in a slow cooker.
  4. Cook covered for 4-6 hours on low.
