Cordon Bleu Chicken Soup Recipe

This soup is a wonderful make-ahead soup for a party.

Makes: 16 servings

Ingredients:-

Ham (diced) – 12 oz.

Chicken breast – 1 lb.

Onion (diced) – 4 oz.

Mushrooms (chopped) – 5 oz.

Garlic (minced) – 3 tablespoon

Chicken broth – 6 cups

Tarragon – 2 teaspoon

Salted butter – 3 tablespoon

Sea salt – 1 teaspoon

Black pepper – 1 teaspoon

Heavy cream – 1 ½ cup

Sour cream – ½ cup

Parmesan cheese (grated) – ½ cup

Swiss cheese – 4 oz.

Directions:-

  1. Combine the broth, mushroom, ham salt, pepper, tarragon and onion in the slow cooker on low and cook for a while.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan and cook the garlic in it.
  3. Add the chicken and sear it on all sides.
  4. Transfer into a slow cooker along with the cheeses and cream.
  5. Cook covered for 6 hours on low.

Creamy Corned Beef Soup

A corned beef soup that you’ll surely enjoy.

Makes: 14 servings

Prep: 20 min

Cook: 6 hours

Ingredients:-

Onion (diced) – 1

Celery ribs (diced) – 2

Garlic cloves (minced) – 2

Butter – 3 tablespoon

Corned beef (chopped) – 1 lb.

Beef stock – 4 cups

Sauerkraut – 1 cup

Sea salt – 1 teaspoon

Caraway seeds – 1 teaspoon

Black pepper – ¾ teaspoon

Heavy cream – 2 cups

Swiss cheese (shredded) – 1 ½ cup

Directions:-

  1. Heat the pan and sauté the onion, garlic, celery and butter in it.
  2. Transfer the mixture into the slow cooker.
  3. Place the rest of the ingredients except the cheese and cream in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook for 4 ½ hours on low.
  5. Mix in the cheese and cream and cook for another hour.
