Ethiopian-Style Chicken & Egg Dish

This dish is a double delight. Eggs and chicken together!!

Makes: 8 servings

Cook: 4-6 hours

Ingredients:-

Onions (chopped fine) – 2

Garlic clove (minced) – 1

Butter – ½ cup

Organic Ethiopian Berebere – 4 tablespoon

Whole Chicken (separated into legs, breasts and thighs) – 1

Celtic sea salt – 2 teaspoon

Organic hard boiled eggs (peeled) – 8

Directions:-

  1. Place the onions, garlic, butter, salt and Berbere in a slow cooker.
  2. Cook for 8 hours on low.
  3. Add the chicken and cook for another 8 hours on low.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the serving dish and place it in the eggs.

Nutrition Information per serving: 315 Cal, 25 g total fat, 4 g carbs, 0.8 g fiber, 19 g protein.
