Roast Chicken With Herb-Lemon Butter

The herb lemon butter adds a wonderful flavor to the chicken.

Ingredients:-

Whole roast chicken – 1

Water – 1 cup

Kosher salt – ½ teaspoon

Ground black pepper – ¼ teaspoon

Whole lemon (thinly sliced) – 1

Butter – 4 tablespoon

Fresh parsley (chopped) – 2 tablespoon

Directions:-

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and place in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the water and cook for 3 hours on high.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the slow cooker.
  4. Cook for 10 more minutes.
