Spicy Shredded Beef Recipe

This slow-cooker spicy shredded beef is extremely juicy and tasty. Try having it in crusty French rolls and you will relish it.

Makes: 6 servings

Cook: 8-10 hours

Ingredients:-

Boned beef chuck – 2 ½ pounds

Chopped tomatoes – 1 (14 ½ oz.) can

Chipotle sauce – 1 (7 oz.) can

Drained jalapenos chiles (diced) – 1 (4 oz.) can

Chopped onion – 1

Minced garlic cloves – 3

Chili powder – 2 tablespoons

Honey – 1 tablespoon

Kosher salt – 2 ½ teaspoons

Ground cumin – 1 teaspoon

Beef broth – 2 cups

Directions:-

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Cook covered for 8-10 hours on low, until beef is tender.
  3. During the last ½ hour of cooking, cook uncovered to thicken the sauce.
  4. Remove the meat, shred the meat using forks and return it to the cooker.
